Filling and packaging line – AkzoNobel

AkzoNobel is a large multinational company active in the field of paints and coatings. Iv has a long history of supporting AkzoNobel’s engineering department. For a new state-of-the-art filling and packaging department, Iv provided the design and many other activities, including modifications to existing buildings and utilities, project coordination, replacement of the HVAC system for the production department and upgrades to several of the company’s laboratories.

In addition to strict safety and availability requirements, it is vital for this project that AkzoNobel’s production sites remain operational during the (preparatory) works. Moreover, construction will take place within the existing environment. This requires good planning, clear coordination and communication during construction, and thorough preparation. A master plan was drawn up in advance, and various feasibility studies were carried out.

AkzoNobel is again future-proof with the arrival of a modern, new filling and packaging department that meets all of today’s needs and requirements. The upgrades and modifications to the laboratories will deliver an even better product under sound, safe conditions.
