Work on hot topics

Do you see challenges in gathering client requirements and formulating requirements specifications in accordance with the Systems Engineering (SE) method, advising on (new) tender and contract forms, further implementing risk management or developing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)? As an intern in the Project and Process Management department, you will contribute to the development of hot topics such as new contract forms, tendering procedures, MBSE, and/or risk management. You'll develop your skills in the field of tendering & contracting, project management, risk management and/or systems engineering—a challenging profession in which you will be involved with many disciplines simultaneously. In addition to the topics outlined above, you are welcome to introduce a topic of your own.

Iv provides tailor-made and innovative designs and advice for constructing and maintaining sustainable infrastructure. You may already be familiar with our involvement in the new IJmuiden sea lock, the Zandhazen Bridge or the design of the Panama Canal lock gates. By developing and applying the latest technologies, we offer ready-made and sustainable solutions for not only today's societal challenges but also those of tomorrow! We provide integral advice for steel and concrete civil engineering works, hydraulic engineering, spatial planning, upkeep, traffic and infrastructure installations and railways. We also offer specialist services in spatial measurement and monitoring structures, RAMS and risk management, asset management, systems engineering, contract management, project management and supervision.

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for an enthusiastic university (WO) student studying Construction Management and Engineering, Business Administration, Law, or something similar. A technical background is advantageous but not required. You are a creative, critical thinker who thinks outside the box. After all, that is how the best solutions are achieved! Your entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity towards new things are equally important as your technical knowledge and creativity. You are someone who keeps abreast of the latest developments and enjoys contributing ideas on how we can get involved and use them.

What do we have to offer you?

A challenging (graduation) internship at the most diverse engineering company in the Netherlands! We will ensure you get the most out of your graduate internship assignment. You will work on the most incredible one-of-a-kind projects and be given a lot of responsibility. This is how we challenge you to push the limits. Through the guidance provided by our most innovative engineers, who will gladly teach you the tricks of the trade, we will help you develop your talents. Oh yes, also important, we offer an attractive internship allowance ranging from €400 for MBO students, €600 for HBO students and €800 for WO students.
