You will design the most complex water treatment plants
Do you want to design complex technical installations and perform calculations for prestigious projects? As an EIA Engineer (Electrical, Instrumentation and Industrial Automation), you will design installations from the Program of Requirements (POR) to the specifications for various projects in which integral sustainable solutions in water treatment are key. These projects focus on the optimisation or new construction of water treatment plants for both wastewater and drinking water, and pumping stations. You will formulate cost estimates and specifications, participate in multidisciplinary meetings and play an active role in devising creative solutions for technical issues. You will receive the freedom you need to arrive at a perfectly integral design with all other specialists. These projects are mainly carried out on behalf of the water boards, drinking water companies and industrial clients.
When it comes to water, two (conflicting) aspects can be identified: one is that we need water for drinking, for industry, the agricultural sector, transport and recreational purposes. The other is that water also poses a threat in relation to flooding and rising sea levels. Because water quality, water transport, safety and water management often go hand in hand, solutions must be sought across that entire bandwidth. Iv provides integral and innovative advice for projects of all sizes and complexity in water installations and hydraulic engineering. Sustainability is paramount. For example, Iv has developed the CO2 tool! This tool calculates the CO2 reduction in water treatment processes. Would you also like to work on sustainable solutions in water quality? Iv has some of the most challenging projects ready and waiting for you!
We are looking for a graduate with a higher vocational (HBO) degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Industrial Automation with at least five years of relevant work experience, including experience in a (senior) position. For this position, you must have an excellent command of the Dutch language and experience in water treatment and/or transport. In addition, you must be solution-oriented, honest, responsible, and enjoy diversity in your work.
