Do you want to design complex civil/mechanical engineering technical installations and perform calculations for prestigious projects? As a (graduate) intern at Iv, you will have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of projects in which integral sustainable solutions in water treatment are key. These projects focus on the optimisation or new construction of water treatment plants for both wastewater and drinking water, and pumping stations. You will participate in multidisciplinary meetings and play an active role in devising creative solutions for technical issues while receiving the necessary support and working with industry specialists.
When it comes to water, two (conflicting) aspects can be identified: one is that we need water for drinking, for industry, the agricultural sector, transport and recreational purposes. The other is that water also poses a threat in relation to flooding and rising sea levels. Because water quality, water transport, safety and water management often go hand in hand, solutions must be sought across that entire bandwidth. Iv-Water provides integral and innovative advice for projects of all sizes and complexity in water installations and hydraulic engineering. Sustainability is paramount. For example, Iv has developed the CO2 tool! This tool calculates the CO2 reduction in water treatment processes. Would you also like to work on sustainable solutions in water quality? We are looking for an enthusiastic higher vocational/university level (hbo/wo) Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering student who loves technical challenges. We are looking for a creative, critical thinker who thinks outside the box. After all, this is how the best solutions are realised! We consider your enterprising spirit and curiosity about new things equally important as your technical knowledge and creativity. You keep yourself up to date with the latest developments and are eager to provide input into how we, as a company, can participate herein.
