You will work on the newest contracts

Our world of infrastructure is changing rapidly, and the ever-increasing challenges in sustainability, liveability and affordability require creative solutions and new forms of collaboration between the government and businesses. As a (Senior) Risk and Contract Management Consultant, your role is centrally positioned in this field. Your tasks will include making an inventory of requirements, preferences and risks, providing advice on (innovative) contract forms, and supervising tenders and current contracts for the design, realisation and maintenance of infrastructure.

Your knowledge of tendering, contracting and (system-oriented) contract management enable you to deliver tailor-made advice and fulfil your role as a (senior) consultant for both the client and the contractor. In addition, you will collaborate closely with your colleagues and support the younger consultants in the team through coaching.

Iv provides tailor-made and innovative designs and advice for constructing and maintaining sustainable infrastructure. You may already be familiar with our involvement in the new IJMuiden sea lock, the Zandhazen Bridge or the design of the Panama Canal lock gates. By developing and applying the latest technologies, we offer ready-made and sustainable solutions for not only today's societal challenges but also those of tomorrow! We provide integral advice for steel and concrete civil engineering works, hydraulic engineering, spatial planning, upkeep, traffic and infrastructure installations and railways. We also offer specialist services in spatial measurement and monitoring structures, RAMS and risk management, asset management, systems engineering, contract management, project management, and supervision.

What do we expect from you?

You have several years’ worth of knowledge and experience with integrated contracts based on UAV-GC and building teams in the infrastructure sector. Your experience includes the preparation of integrated contracts and tender documents. You can draft a contract independently, guide a tender process and also compile a tender dossier. But more importantly, you enjoy advising and discussing the content with the client. Furthermore, you are knowledgeable about current legislation and regulations, the Public Procurement Act (Aanbestedingswet) and Works Procurement Regulations (ARW). You are interested in market developments and enjoy sharing your knowledge and expertise with your colleagues and our clients. You are keen to develop your talents and contribute to the further development of our team.

What do we have to offer you?

A challenging and varied job at the most diverse engineering company in the Netherlands! You can count on:

  • The most incredible projects in all sectors: You will work on high-quality solutions that genuinely benefit society. From the world's largest offshore wind platforms, bridges and lock complexes to factories, water treatment plants and submarines.
  • A professional and pleasant working environment: At Iv, you will find an accessible working atmosphere where hard work goes hand in hand with fun. For example, we visit the European or World Cup Football Championships every two years. We celebrate New Year in style at the Efteling theme park and organise social summer barbecues and much more!

  • Excellent secondary terms and conditions: 31 days annual leave, annual bonus (7%), profit sharing, flexible pension scheme and travel expenses and a work-from-home allowance.
  • Ample development opportunities: We offer a wide range of training, courses and development opportunities to help you become even better in your profession.
