Participate in one of the most significant infrastructure projects in the Netherlands.

The A9 Badhoevedorp and Holendrecht project can rightly be referred to as a megaproject. This route is one of the busiest connections in the Netherlands. To improve the accessibility of the northern Randstad and simultaneously the quality of life in the area, the A9 will be expanded from two three-lane roads to two four-lane roads. A project with many technical and organisational challenges. Commissioned by FCC Construcción, Iv is making the preliminary design and final design for the widening of the Schiphol Bridge (movable bridge), three fixed bridges, five viaducts and a new recessed position. As an intern, you will support all project and design management matters, such as system engineering, interface control and planning. Together with your colleagues, you will be the sparring partner for this project. This challenge will give you a good impression of working in a project environment with multiple parties.

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for an enthusiastic higher vocational/university level (HBO/WO) student in Construction Management or Civil Engineering who is interested in carrying out project and design management tasks for this large project. You will work at our office in Nieuwegein and on location in Amsterdam, so a car is a must. We are looking for an organiser with an enthusiastic attitude who is a team player! We consider your enterprising spirit and curiosity about new things equally important as your technical knowledge and creativity. You keep yourself up to date with the latest developments and are eager to provide input into how we, as a company, can participate herein.

What do we have to offer you?

A challenging (graduate) internship at the most diverse engineering company in the Netherlands! We will ensure you get the most out of your (graduate) internship assignment. You will work on the most incredible one-of-a-kind projects and receive much personal responsibility. This is how we challenge you to push the limits. Through the guidance provided by our most innovative engineers, who will gladly teach you the tricks of the trade, we will help you develop your talents. Oh yes, also important, we offer an attractive internship allowance ranging from €400 for MBO students, €600 for HBO students and €800 for WO students.
