Lead Process & Safety Engineer

Leading the project from the concept study to the detailed design

Designing, analysing and optimising production processes in various industries: as a Lead Process Engineer, these will be your responsibilities. You will be involved in developing essential documents such as P&IDs, heat & mass balance, and process philosophies. Furthermore, you will also ensure the delivery of various documents according to the project schedule and lead the project from the concept study to the detailed design, whereby you will delegate process tasks where necessary. You will be responsible for process safety in the design and actively participate in the various safety assessments, such as a HAZOP. In addition, you will provide technical assistance to business proposals with potential clients. The process team you will join is a mix of junior and experienced engineers with a passion for technology.

Safety, sustainability and improving efficiency are crucial factors in the industry sector and require innovative solutions and a multidisciplinary approach. And this is where Iv comes in! We also help clients develop new biobased processes and applications in a pragmatic and multidisciplinary way to achieve a functional process installation. Examples of unique projects in which Iv-Industrie has participated are the new Emmi milk factory and the engineering of process installations for specialty chemicals.

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for a lead process engineer who has completed an education in Chemical Engineering. Experience in the chemical, food and/or pharmaceutical industries is advantageous. In addition, you must have an excellent command of the Dutch and English languages and good communication skills. You are enthusiastic and driven, continuously strive for the best result, and stand up for your team.
