Lead Engineer Electrical Energy and Offshore

As a Lead Electrical Engineer at Iv, you will work in multidisciplinary project teams mainly positioned in the wind industry. You will be responsible for delivering the desired quality within the set period and budget of the electrical scope of the project. During the execution of the project, you will coach, guide, and manage your electrical engineering team. In addition, you will ensure proper coordination with other engineering disciplines, suppliers, and our clients. Your role's activities can vary from the first phase of a project, in which you provide advice to the client by conducting a feasibility study, up to and including the complete detailed engineering of EPC contracts. You will report directly to the project manager/department manager.
Iv delivers tailor-made solutions in the field of offshore energy activities. We provide advice from the first feasibility studies up to and including the execution of all engineering and procurement activities! The offshore and energy sector holds no surprises for us. We have a proven track record in offshore platforms, FPSOs, onshore facilities and complex steel and mechanical installations for offshore applications. You may already be familiar with our involvement in the DolWin Alpha platform and the Sofia HVDC offshore converter platform. In addition, Iv is making great strides in the offshore hydrogen production market. For example, we are, among others, the engineering partner for the PosHYdon pilot project!
You must have at least eight years of relevant work experience and two years of experience in a similar role. You have a master's or bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, supplemented with professional courses. Good communication skills and an excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken. Knowledge of the Dutch language is considered an advantage.
