Senior / Lead Engineer Mechanical Industry
Coordinate complex projects and contribute to the growth of the department
Are you technically strong and do you know how to design multidisciplinary and complex projects? As a Senior/Lead Engineer Mechanical you work on challenging projects for clients in the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. You are involved from the initial idea to commissioning of process equipment, package units or logistics systems. The work as a Senior/Lead Engineer Mechanical is very diverse. You are involved in the project management of monodisciplinary projects, the technical coordination of multidisciplinary projects, directing design work within the department, maintaining contacts with customers and suppliers and execution supervision. Together with the department head, you will also work on the growth of the department and look for opportunities to expand the network.
Safety, sustainability and improving efficiency are crucial factors in the industry sector and require innovative solutions and a multidisciplinary approach. And this is where Iv comes in! Iv provides integral advice for the new construction and upgrade of factories, installations, utilities, buildings and structures. We also help clients develop new biobased processes and applications in a pragmatic and multidisciplinary way to achieve a functional process installation. Examples of unique projects in which Iv has participated are the new Emmi milk factory and the engineering of process installations for specialty chemicals.
You have a completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of mechanical or chemical engineering and you have about five to ten years of work experience in similar projects. You are able to organize multidisciplinary and complex projects and have an overall view. At least as important are your enthusiasm and soft skills. You know exactly how to bring the real customer needs to the surface, can compromise tactfully and know how to get the best out of your team. We also expect you to be constantly up to date with the latest developments and actively contribute ideas on how we can apply these in our projects.
