Project Engineer Energy and Offshore
Contribute to the most complex projects in the world
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the interdisciplinary coordination of an engineering team in multidisciplinary projects. Besides this, you will also support the Project Manager in the areas of budget, planning, delivery times and quality. For specific projects, you will also fulfil the role of Project Leader. You will maintain commercial contacts with (potential) clients and supervise tender processes for multidisciplinary projects. You will also make professional decisions in relation to interdisciplinary overlaps and provide support for the preparation of (multidisciplinary) specifications, draft specifications, contractual documents and general terms and conditions.
Iv delivers tailor-made solutions in the field of offshore energy activities. We provide advice from the first feasibility studies up to and including the execution of all engineering and procurement activities! The offshore and energy sector holds no surprises for us. We have a proven track record in offshore platforms, FPSOs, onshore facilities and complex steel and mechanical installations for offshore applications. You may already be familiar with our involvement in the DolWin Alpha platform and the Sofia HVDC offshore converter platform. In addition, Iv is making great strides in the offshore hydrogen production market. For example, we are, among others, the engineering partner for the PosHYdon pilot project!
Wij zoeken iemand met een hbo- of wo-opleiding met een technische achtergrond, zoals chemische technologie, werktuigbouwkunde of elektrotechniek. Je hebt ruime ervaring in de offshoresector. Je weet deze kennis en ervaring te vertalen naar een optimaal ontwerp en een succesvol project. Bij voorkeur heb je ervaring in verschillende technische projectfuncties binnen een ingenieursbureau, bijvoorbeeld als project engineer oflead engineer. Verder is het belangrijk dat je kunt onderhandelen met opdrachtgevers en opdrachtnemers. Je beschikt over een goed aanpassingsvermogen, aangezien je ook bij de klant op locatie moet kunnen werken. Daarnaast is een goede beheersing van de Engelse taal, zowel in woord als geschrift, een vereiste.
