Project Leader Electrical Engineering Buildings

No challenge too big

Within this position, you will be responsible for managing design teams in installation design and implementation supervision of electrical installations in markets such as education, offices, leisure, distribution centres, data centres, public transport, business accommodation and housing complex. You will lead different project teams and motivate them to achieve the highest possible results through your knowledge and experience in electrical engineering. You will ensure that projects are kept within budget and schedule and contribute to making our society more sustainable. You will actively participate in the design team and have a lot of contact with clients and other project team partners, such as architects and structural engineers, to ensure the projects are realised to client satisfaction. In addition, you will play an essential role in the quotation phase in which you, in consultation with colleagues, project partners and clients, will produce project proposals with which we can distinguish ourselves from our competitors in the market.

We lead the way in 3D design and BIM, with which we flawlessly coordinate building-related installations with the other involved disciplines. This way, contractors can get to work immediately following the design phase! Among other prominent projects, Iv has worked on the large-scale transformation of the Baumannkerk in Rotterdam and Lidl's new, self-sufficient distribution centre in Almere!

What do we expect from you?

You must have a higher vocational or university level (HBO/WO) degree in Electrical Engineering, possibly supplemented with technical further education courses (HIT is advantageous). You have multiple years of experience designing electrical installations at project manager level in the utility construction sector. Our ideal candidate will also have knowledge of specialist subjects such as security technology. You can identify the client's underlying need and realise the expectation by listening carefully. You have excellent communication skills, are technically strong, and can express yourself well in speech and writing. You strive to find the most suitable solutions for the most challenging projects.
