At Iv we are looking for a structural engineer for the Building and Construction department in Arnhem or Haarlem. We work for the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries and do a lot of work for tank terminals and Tata Steel. You will work on challenging multidisciplinary structures. These will include building structures, crane rails, foundation and support structures, pipe bridges, modular construction, machine foundations, and supports for pipes. You will always work as part of a project team where consultation, coordination and communication are essential.
Safety, sustainability and improving efficiency are crucial factors in the industry sector and require innovative solutions and a multidisciplinary approach. And this is where Iv comes in! Iv provides integral advice for the new construction and upgrade of factories, installations, utilities, buildings and structures. We also help clients develop new biobased processes and applications in a pragmatic and multidisciplinary way to achieve a functional process installation. Examples of unique projects in which Iv has participated are the new Emmi milk factory and the engineering of process installations for specialty chemicals.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Structural Engineer with a higher professional education degree in Architecture and at least five years of work experience. A post-graduate education/diploma in Concrete & Steel from the HTI (Hoger Technisch Instituut) is an advantage. Of course, your work is highly accurate and structured, but we consider your enthusiasm and drive equally important. You enjoy tackling a variety of tasks and taking the initiative. You will receive much freedom in your work and know precisely how to utilise it.
