As an Advisor Spatial and Mobility, you will deal with numerous issues in public space and in the field of mobility and traffic. Iv is a much sought-after partner for multidisciplinary and complex traffic issues, which makes every project a learning challenge. As a Spatial Planning & Mobility consultant, you will be involved in spatial tasks such as area development and redevelopment projects. You will also provide solutions to bottlenecks and challenges in the areas of road safety, accessibility and traffic flow. You will work partly behind your desk, but will also conduct research on location. You will come into contact with all aspects of the profession and will have the opportunity to gain as much experience as possible.
Iv provides customized and innovative designs and advice for the construction and maintenance of sustainable infrastructure. You may know us from the New Sea Lock IJmuiden, the Sand Hare Bridge or the design of the lock gates of the Panama Canal. By developing and applying the latest technologies, we offer ready-made and sustainable solutions to the social challenges of today and tomorrow! For example, we provide integrated advice for steel and concrete structures, hydraulic engineering, spatial planning, conservation, traffic and infra installations and railroads. We also provide specialist services in the areas of spatial measurement and monitoring of structures, RAMS and risk management, asset management, systems engineering, contract management, management and supervision.
We are looking for a college or university graduate traffic consultant (traffic engineering, planning, geography or technical business administration with a focus on mobility). Some work experience is always welcome, but please also respond if you are looking for a fun first job. Of course you have knowledge of your field, but at least as important is your enthusiasm, sense of responsibility and interest in innovations (such as smart mobility). You enjoy tackling many different things and taking the initiative. You get a lot of freedom in your work and can use that like no other. You are good at conducting interviews and writing reports. You also have a driving license and like to work at various locations in the Netherlands.
