Make the Netherlands smarter and more accessible

Your analyses will help determine how traffic moves in the Netherlands. Work on smart mobility solutions that make cities and regions accessible, safe and liveable.

Your advice will help municipalities, provinces, the Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management (Rijkswaterstaat), and contractors make fit-for-the-future choices. By carrying out traffic engineering research, you will help identify bottlenecks and determine where improvements are necessary. You will work on exploration and feasibility studies that contribute to a safe and efficient infrastructure, and your involvement in environmental management will ensure that mobility solutions are widely supported and smoothly implemented.

In multidisciplinary projects, you will work alongside experts from various disciplines to ensure that mobility and quality of life are optimally combined. By clarifying stakeholders' interests and including them in the process, you will contribute to feasible and supported solutions. You'll be part of a close-knit team of fifteen colleagues within the Spatial Planning and Mobility sector at our office in Haarlem, working on innovative and practical solutions together. The working environment is open, professional and focused on collaboration and achieving results.
