Would you like to work as an engineer/modeler at a dynamic engineering company with a passion for technology? Then this may be the position for you. As a mechanical engineer for installations, you will find that no two days are ever the same. You will work on a large number of multidisciplinary projects in which you will collaborate with a team on often complex issues. You will often work on concepts within a building, feasibility studies or certain energy consultancy studies. Our mission is to have a positive impact on people by optimising their built environment. We get energy from searching for the most optimal technical sustainable solution and thus give direction to the energy transition. We do this for example at data centres, distribution centres, in commercial real estate, leisure and education.
Within Iv, we have people with a wealth of knowledge of installation technology and architecture: an ideal combination! This enables us to approach projects integrally. We lead the way in 3D design and BIM, with which we flawlessly coordinate building-related installations with the other involved disciplines. This way, contractors can get to work immediately following the design phase! Among other prominent projects, Iv has worked on the large-scale transformation of the Baumannkerk in Rotterdam and Lidl's new, self-sufficient distribution centre in Almere!
We are preferably looking for someone with some work experience but more important is a passion for installation technology. You have a Secondary vocational education or bachelor diploma. In your position, you not only work on the most complex projects, but you are also prepared to think further about possible innovations. You are curious about possibilities and improvements in processes and working methods. You connect with the customer and various stakeholders and know how to enthuse people. Modelling holds no secrets for you or you are eager to learn all the ins and outs of modelling. Then you are the person we are looking for in this position!
