We are looking for an investigative sustainability guru

The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) states that large organisations must report on sustainability starting in 2025. This graduation project aims to contribute to implementing the CSRD for our organisation, specifically in GAP analysis and implementation. You will work under the guidance of the group controller and will have the opportunity to further develop your knowledge and skills in sustainability and reporting standards (European Sustainability Reporting Standards – ESRS).

Objectives:

1.     Studying CSRD and associated reporting standards (ESRS).

2.     Examining the information available within Iv and identifying where we need to obtain further information (GAP analysis).

3.     Supporting workshops and knowledge sessions on CSRD.

4.     Establishing policy guidelines and procedures to contribute to the completeness of the required information.

5.     Preparing reports and recommendations to implement the CSRD further.

You will work closely with the Sustainability and Finance & Control departments at our head office in Papendrecht, where we, with 20 employees, are responsible for the entire financial function and sustainability reporting of the company.

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for one (or two in a duo) enthusiastic higher vocational education (HBO) students who love a challenge. You are a real team player who works accurately and considers the interests of the team and the organisation. You are genuinely interested in the profession and enjoy working in a dynamic organisation.

What do we have to offer you?

We will make sure you get the most out of your graduation assignment. You will work with the CSRD team, gathering knowledge and information from across the organisation. You'll be working for the Netherlands' most diverse engineering company! You will join an organisation where more than 1,100 employees in five different markets work on the most extraordinary and technically complex issues worldwide. These are projects that even the most competent specialists cannot easily solve. Every day is a new challenge, and we ensure that employees continue to develop their talents. We challenge you to push the limits and help you build your abilities. Lastly, we offer an attractive internship allowance of €600 per month. We see this as an excellent opportunity to get to know you better and explore the possibility of you joining our organisation after your studies.
