From large-scale infrastructure projects such as the widening of the A9 motorway, the Oosterweel link, and the replacement task of the Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management to complex dike reinforcements and challenging municipal issues; at Iv, you will work as a project management consultant on unique integral projects for various clients. Every day will be different! You will coordinate and manage these projects in terms of time, cost, quality, scope and/or risk management. You will keep track of progress and provide valuable support to the project manager and project team. To make projects manageable, you will use your knowledge and expertise in Systems Engineering (SE) and act as an essential link between the involved technical disciplines and our clients. It is your job to maintain the overview, and you know exactly how to coordinate processes to ensure the work is delivered according to schedule and the defined requirements.

What do we expect from you?

For this position, we require a higher vocational/university level (HBO or WO) degree (for example, Civil Engineering, Technical Business Administration or Construction Management and Engineering (CME)) and at least three years of relevant experience. You do not have to be a hardcore technician to perform this function well, but an affinity with civil engineering and construction processes is important. You will be working at the very intersection of technology and process. You must be able to keep an overview of the whole, switch quickly, have good communication and strong analytical skills, and work systematically. Furthermore, you also need to have a good sense of responsibility, be comfortable with software, and be a real team player so that together, we can act in the client's best interests and achieve the best result. It is a varied position in which you have the opportunity to quickly assume responsibility, develop yourself and often play a central role in a project.
