At Iv, we’re constantly looking for smarter solutions. Digitalisation plays an increasingly important role in everything we do, from design to inspection and maintenance. We occasionally apply Mixed Reality techniques such as Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) in our projects, but we aim to take them to the next level. That’s where you come in.
You’ll work on various concrete cases, such as using AR visualisations to better inform local residents during quay improvement projects, or showing real-time forces and fatigue in a steel bridge structure. For this latter case, data and a simplified setup are already available within Iv.
Your internship will be supervised by an experienced designer. You’ll have the freedom to contribute your own ideas and even help define additional cases. You’ll learn not only how civil engineering challenges work, but also how to use your knowledge of visualisation technology to make engineering more accessible, understandable, and innovative.
