Ensure project oversight with clear administration and reporting

Do you have experience in project support and a good head for numbers? At Iv, as a Project Support Officer, you help ensure the smooth running of the administration and invoicing for complex infrastructure projects.

Infrastructure projects at Iv are varied and challenging. These include the construction and improvement of quays in the Port of Rotterdam, the recalculation of bridges and viaducts for Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (Rijkswaterstaat), and the design of intelligent traffic systems and sustainable mobility solutions. Such projects require well-organised administration and a clear financial structure. Your input ensures the project team has proper visibility of both progress and financial status.

Keeping the project administration up to date in Dynamics (ERP system) is a key part of your role. This includes preparing invoices, entering and adjusting budgets, and producing and sharing progress reports (VGRs) with project managers and senior staff to keep everyone informed on project status. Timely and accurate invoicing keeps the financial side of projects in order, while carefully maintained budgets help the team stay in control.

This role offers you plenty of flexibility to organise your own working week. Flexible hours allow you to fit work around school times or other personal commitments. You'll be part of an informal and straightforward team of five colleagues, working closely together in an open and responsive environment – both in the office and via Teams.

What do we expect from you?

  • A completed MBO-level qualification in administration or a similar field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a comparable role
  • Experience with invoicing, budget control, and working in an ERP system (preferably Dynamics)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • A methodical and accurate working style
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • A good command of the Dutch language is required in this position

What do we have to offer you?

For example, we visit the European or World Cup Football Championships every two years. We celebrate New Year in style at the Efteling theme park and organise social summer barbecues and much more!

  • Excellent secondary terms and conditions: 31 days annual leave, annual bonus (7%), profit sharing, flexible pension scheme and travel expenses and a work-from-home allowance.
  • Ample development opportunities: We offer a wide range of training, courses and development opportunities to help you become even better in your profession.

In short: At Iv, you will work alongside 1,400 other specialists on some of the greatest challenges of our time while having lots of fun. That's what we call: Engineering that excites.
