Be the first to see what others will design later
What you measure today forms the foundation for tomorrow’s design and execution. During your internship in Geodesy at Iv, you will contribute to the collection, processing, and analysis of spatial data that underpin leading infrastructure projects such as the A9 Schiphol Bridge or the Terneuzen Lock.
You will become part of a team of geodesists and land surveyors, supporting a wide range of measurements in the field as well as their processing in the office. Your work will include land surveying, 3D laser scanning, deformation measurements, and the monitoring of structures such as bridges, tunnels, and quays. The data you collect will be translated into reliable input for design and asset management processes.
You’ll learn to work with the latest surveying equipment and software and gain insight into how geodesy is essential at every stage of a project – from preparation to delivery. Depending on your background and interests, we’ll determine together where your strengths can best be developed. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute ideas on smarter surveying strategies, data processing, or visualisation in 3D environments.
