Laying the foundation for smart industrial installations
Are you curious about how electrical engineering is applied in high-tech factories and process installations? During your internship at Iv, you’ll contribute to innovative projects in the industrial sector, where safety, reliability and energy efficiency take centre stage.
You’ll support our electrical engineers in designing and developing electrical systems – from power distribution and lighting to emergency power supplies. You’ll work on projects in sectors such as the food industry, pharmaceuticals, or chemical processing. Think, for example, of constructing a new dairy factory or upgrading an existing facility with modern technology. You’ll learn how to draft schematics, select components, perform cable calculations, and coordinate your designs with other disciplines.
You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team, working alongside colleagues in mechanical engineering, architecture and process automation. Depending on your learning goals and interests, we’ll tailor the content of your internship to give you a broad view of the profession and help you discover where your strengths lie.
