Contribute to technical installations for the next generation of factories
Curious about how to design installations for state-of-the-art factories? During your Mechanical Engineering (graduation)internship at Iv, you’ll join our mechanical team and work on smart technical systems for leading clients in the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
You’ll support our engineers in translating process diagrams into practical solutions – from process equipment and piping to machinery, fittings or complete package units. You’ll work on both building-related and process installations, such as cooling systems, compressed air, water and gas distribution, or the mechanical components of logistics systems. You’ll learn how to carry out design calculations, draft schematics, select components, and translate everything into an integrated design that works in real life.
At Iv, you’ll always work in a multidisciplinary environment. You’ll collaborate with colleagues in electrical engineering, process automation and architecture, giving you insight into how all disciplines come together in a single integrated design. Projects vary widely – from the engineering of a high-tech dairy factory to the development of sustainable process installations using biobased technologies. Depending on your learning goals and interests, we’ll tailor your activities to give you a full picture of the field and help you discover where your strengths lie.
