From bridges to tunnels and everything in between
Would you like to dive deep into complex concrete structures within Dutch infrastructure? During your graduation internship at Iv, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a challenging technical topic that aligns with both your interests and the practical context of our projects.
You’ll tackle a real issue currently faced by our department. This could involve optimising a design method, developing a parametric model, or researching innovative applications of concrete within our projects. Based on your background and interests, we will define a graduation assignment together that perfectly matches your profile.
You will conduct independent research, analyse the results and translate them into practical insights or tools. Of course, you won’t be doing this alone – you’ll be guided by experienced structural engineers who will challenge you technically and provide support where needed. In addition, you’ll gain insight into the practical workings of multidisciplinary projects at Iv, learning how your role as a structural engineer fits within the bigger picture of integrated design.
