Civil Designer

From pipework to foundations: you outline it

Wherever water is purified, transported or reused, you literally draw the lines. As a Civil Designer at Iv, you work on civil designs for wastewater installations, drinking water installations and industrial systems such as cooling and process water.

You ensure that civil structures and pipelines are technically sound and easy to build. You work on setting up civil constructions and modelling underground pipework in Revit. You will contribute to the dimensioning of pipelines and help to develop phasing plans for implementation. You will coordinate your work with the lead civil engineer and other colleagues in the project team. 

You will coordinate your work with the lead civil engineer and work closely with colleagues from disciplines such as mechanical, electrical and process engineering. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of over 18 colleagues, with an open and informal atmosphere. We help each other, contribute ideas and work together on smart, feasible technical solutions.

What do we expect from you?

• A higher vocational degree (HBO) in civil engineering or similar
• 2 to 5 years of experience in civil engineering or underground infrastructure
• Experience in designing civil constructions and pipelines
• Familiar with sewage works is an advantage
• Experience with Revit is required
• You have a good command of the Dutch language
• You work accurately, think integrally and have an eye for technical details
