Revit Modeller

Turn technology into manufacturable models

What you draw, is being constructed. And what is built must be accurate. As a Revit modeller, you make sure it is. Using your Revit model as a basis, you create the bridges, tunnels and locks that keep the Netherlands moving.

As a Revit modeller at Iv, you will work on the visual and technical detailing of civil engineering structures. You translate the input of structural engineers and consultants into a detailed 3D model in Revit Structure, from preliminary design to execution level. You pay attention to dimensions, structural logic and manufacturability and actively think about practical solutions. You work closely with colleagues within the project team and coordinate your models with our other disciplines and with clients such as Rijkswaterstaat, municipalities and contractors, so that model information is synchronised in real time with all parties involved. 

Your models form the basis for construction drawings and contribute directly to the quality of the design – and thus to projects that are actually built. Think of the A9 Schiphol bridge, the Oostertoegang in Amsterdam or the Zuidasdok project along the A10.

You will join a technically strong, multidisciplinary team. The atmosphere is open and informal: we share knowledge, work together and make each other better. Within Iv, you will get the opportunity to deepen your Revit skills and work on innovative forms of digital design.

What do we expect from you?

• Bachelor or master degree in civil engineering
• Demonstrable experience with Revit 
• Work experience as a modeler is an advantage
• Experience with civil engineering structures and/or concrete structures is an advantage
• You work accurately and think in feasible solutions
• You easily communicate with colleagues and external parties
• You are eager to learn, practical and a real team player
