You turn requirements into actionable decisions

As a lead systems engineer, you play a key role in applying systems engineering across complex offshore projects. You help align requirements, set up practical processes, and support project teams in working with a clear and usable methodology.

You’ll work on major projects such as 2GW platforms and floating offshore substations. You take the lead in how requirements are collected, managed and translated into design criteria. You liaise with clients and internal teams, set up verification and validation processes, and use tools like Relatics in ways that make sense for the whole project team.

From tender to delivery, you ensure that client expectations are properly recorded and information remains up to date and usable. You guide colleagues – from engineers to project managers – in applying SE practically, providing structure without restricting expertise.

In addition to your project work, you contribute to the further development of SE at Iv. You help create templates and internal standards, and coach less experienced colleagues in the field.

You’ll be part of the Systems Engineering team within the broader Information Engineering department. You work in a multidisciplinary environment with room for ownership, collaboration and content-driven decision-making.

What do we expect from you?

  • Master’s degree in a technical field
  • At least 7 years of experience in systems engineering within complex projects
  • Experience setting up and implementing SE processes
  • Strong understanding of V&V methodology and tooling such as Relatics
  • Clear communicator across technical and project roles
  • Analytical, pragmatic and able to move teams forward
