Ensure quality agreements don’t get lost in documents

Quality is not a report locked away in a drawer; it is a method of working on the shop floor. As a QA Manager in the energy and offshore market, you ensure that everyone in the organisation adheres to clear quality agreements. You elevate the work from good to excellent and ensure that departments and offshore projects align seamlessly.

As our new QA Manager, you will build a quality system that translates 25 years of offshore expertise into clear steps. You will work towards a uniform way of working and document knowledge that is currently mostly in people’s heads. You will introduce structure, encourage ownership, and help teams to continuously improve. You will develop a stage-gating methodology and assist project teams in drafting targeted procedures. The system you create will be user-friendly and practical.

You will also develop and manage the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001. You will organise audits, maintain contact with certifying bodies, and implement improvement actions. Together with department heads, project managers, and procurement, you will integrate procedures into day-to-day operations. This will create a widely supported quality system that works.

You will join a small quality team where you will be given significant responsibility. You will report directly to the management board and collaborate closely with other departments. The working atmosphere is professional and open: your ideas will be valued, and you will have the space to propose and implement improvements.

What do we expect from you?

  • You hold a higher education degree (HBO or university) in a technical or business-oriented technical field.
  • You have at least 10 years of experience in quality management or the establishment of quality systems.
  • You possess knowledge of change management (preferably Kotter), risk management, audits, and certification.
  • You have experience with matrix project organisations and can easily switch between departments and projects.
  • You are familiar with systems such as Marvin or similar tools.
  • You communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, in both Dutch and English.

What do we have to offer you?

A challenging and varied job at the most diverse engineering company in the Netherlands! You can count on:

  • The most incredible projects in all sectors: You will work on high-quality solutions that genuinely benefit society. From the world's largest offshore wind platforms, bridges and lock complexes to factories, water treatment plants and submarines.
  • A professional and pleasant working environment: At Iv, you will find an accessible working atmosphere where hard work goes hand in hand with fun. For example, we visit the European or World Cup Football Championships every two years. We celebrate New Year in style at the Efteling theme park and organise social summer barbecues and much more!
  • Flexible terms and conditions of employment: choose to receive a higher salary, extra holiday days or both!
  • Excellent secondary terms and conditions: 31 days annual leave, annual bonus (7%), profit sharing, flexible pension scheme and travel expenses and a work-from-home allowance.
  • Ample development opportunities: We offer a wide range of training, courses and development opportunities to help you become even better in your profession.

In short: At Iv, you will work alongside 1,400 other specialists on some of the greatest challenges of our time while having lots of fun. That's what we call: Engineering that excites.
