From offshore wind platforms and naval vessels to water treatment plants and factories: at Iv, as an Electrical Engineering intern, you will work on installations that are crucial to a safe and future-proof society.

As an Electrical Engineering intern (or graduate intern), you will be a full member of a multidisciplinary project team within one of our markets, such as energy and offshore, infrastructure and water, industry, buildings or maritime. Together with you, we will discuss your interests in advance to ensure that your internship matches your ambitions.

You will work on the design and development of electrical installations and energy systems. This includes drawing up single-line diagrams, performing cable calculations and selectivity studies, and designing power supply systems, emergency power supplies or control installations. Depending on your internship or graduation project, you will delve into topics such as offshore energy generation, electrical systems and automation in naval vessels, industrial process installations or sustainable energy supply. You will work with tools such as AutoCAD, EPLAN or similar software.

What do we expect from you?

• You are a higher professional education or university student studying Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology.

• You are interested in complex energy and installation systems.

• You have strong analytical skills and work accurately.

• You preferably have experience with drawing or engineering software (such as EPLAN or AutoCAD).

• You are curious, proactive and think beyond standard solutions.

• You want to develop yourself among the smartest engineers in the field.
