300 Iv colleagues at the 2026 Spanish Grand Prix

Barcelona turned orange

Last weekend, Barcelona turned orange. No fewer than 300 Iv colleagues travelled to the Formula 1 Grand Prix for an unforgettable weekend of speed, good company and great memories.

We usually head to a European Championship or World Cup football tournament together. This time, we chose an alternative. As a trip to America was not feasible, we swapped the stadium for the circuit. And as it turned out, the familiar Iv atmosphere was back immediately.

Together, we enjoyed the Spanish sun, the vibrant city of Barcelona, a range of activities and, of course, the spectacle at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. From the first practice sessions through to Sunday’s race, colleagues were everywhere, making new memories together.

Yet the true strength of the weekend was not only in what happened on the track. It was the conversations over dinner, the new connections between colleagues from different divisions and the sense of togetherness that made the weekend so special.

In two years’ time, the European Championship in England is on the agenda. We hope to cheer on the Dutch team once again with a large group of Iv colleagues. Will you be there too? Until then, we will look back with great pleasure on a weekend that showed exactly what Iv is good at: together, we achieve the utmost.

Will you be cheering with us in two years’ time?
