Accurate material data makes the difference in complex offshore projects. At Iv, you work on systems that enable engineers to design faster, better and more consistently – from offshore wind platforms to brownfield modifications. You make the impossible possible by bringing structure to material information.
As a Piping Materials Management Administrator, you ensure that material data is reliable, available and usable for our engineers. You configure systems, safeguard standards and ensure that material information flows smoothly through the design process. In doing so, you help teams design faster, prevent errors and execute projects more efficiently.
You work on multiple offshore and brownfield projects simultaneously. You ensure that material standards are applied consistently and that engineers always work with the correct data. You manage and configure systems such as SPMat, AVEVA ERM and E3D, ensuring they align with engineering processes. You also support integrations with applications such as AVEVA E3D and maintain the quality of material data. By implementing clear structures and standards, you improve communication between disciplines and reduce project lead times.
In addition, you execute Material Take-Off (MTO) processes and manage material data within material applications. You ensure that project structures are properly set up, user permissions are correctly assigned and dashboards provide clear insights into material flows. This creates transparency for engineers, project teams and suppliers. Thanks to your catalogue work, designers can focus on engineering, while you ensure that the underlying material data is accurate and available.
You will be part of the Piping Engineering team, consisting of ten colleagues in a professional yet informal working environment. You operate within a matrix organisation and collaborate daily with multiple disciplines across projects. For each project, you report to the project manager and work closely with engineers from other disciplines. At Iv, we enjoy complex technical challenges, but we keep our approach practical and straightforward. We work with short lines of communication and a clear focus on results.
