As a Senior Corrosion Engineer at Iv, you’ll ensure our offshore installations can withstand the harshest conditions. With your expertise in material selection, coating systems and cathodic protection, you’ll design solutions that safeguard installations and reduce maintenance.
You’ll define the Corrosion Protection Philosophy, translate it into practical design principles, and develop technical specifications such as the Coating Specification and guidelines for ICCP systems. You’ll assess quotations, prepare technical bid evaluations and review supplier documentation. During procurement processes or on-site inspections, you’ll be the point of contact in your field. Your work will follow ISO 12944, NACE, and other relevant standards.
You’ll contribute to sustainable, low-maintenance solutions within offshore renewable energy projects. Your efforts help minimise degradation and extend the lifespan of structures – essential for safe, reliable and future-proof installations.
You’ll be part of the piping engineering team, which consists of six colleagues and operates within a matrix structure per project. During projects, you’ll report to the project manager and receive technical support from your discipline lead and experienced peers. The atmosphere is informal yet professional. Together, you’ll work on smart solutions with a broad perspective and a keen eye for detail.
